Friendswood Retreat • Pool • Near NASA • Sleeps 13

The interior was as pictured and appeared clean, but unfortunately, the overall experience fell short of expectations. The garden was messy and overgrown, with weeds and cigarette butts on the floor, and looked very different from the listing photos, which appeared to use AI. The cosy decking area shown in the listing had no furniture, and the lounge bed was covered in mould and unusable. We had hoped to spend a lot of time outside, but the garden was a real disappointment. There were also discrepancies on check in/out times on different platforms. The pool jets were difficult to turn on, requiring us to contact the hosts and their management company, and we eventually gave up. We also had significant difficulty getting our deposit back, with the hosts only responding after we involved Airbnb customer support. Overall, the property has potential, but the misleading photos and issues during our stay left us disappointed.
